Derek's family business is Real Estate. He was brought up in the industry and found a real passion for Real Estate after seeing his parents help many families relocate to purchase new homes within their respective careers.

Derek is a 20-year Coast Guard Veteran who has been stationed all over the Country from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Jacksonville,

Miami, and St. Petersburg. He has owned several homes, most notably in Safety Harbor, FL

and is currently a homeowner in Palm Harbor, FL.

Derek's passion outside of Real Estate is his wife of 13 years Nicole, 8 y/o son Carter, and his Boxer Dog Luna. His hobbies include coaching baseball, cooking, entertaining, and traveling. Since moving to Florida 8 years ago, Derek has fallen in love with the beautiful beaches, weather, and scenery in the Tampa/Clearwater area.
